April 3, 2024: More than 500 麻豆传媒 students, alumni, faculty and staff came out to help kick off 麻豆传媒’s 50th anniversary at the Abbotsford Centre, cheering on the Abbotsford Canucks.
April 4, 2024: The 麻豆传媒 50 opening was a simultaneous ceremony held in four of 麻豆传媒’s original communities (Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Hope) and cross-broadcast to each location.
Local First Nations and guests from other institutions attended a Sto:lo tradition-led installation ceremony for new Chancellor Q’um Q’um Xiiem.
September 14, 2024: MLA Pam Alexis and Mayor Paul Horn were among the many guests that helped open 麻豆传媒’s renovated Mission campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
September 26, 2024: More than 300 people gathered for the 麻豆传媒 50 edition of the St’elt’elawtexw Celebration of Community, enjoying the food and drink and the showcases despite the rainy weather.
June 25, 2024: 麻豆传媒 celebrated the launch of the BMO Collaboratorium, a multi-year, $400,000 partnership with 麻豆传媒's Peace and Reconciliation Centre (PARC).
June 2024: 1,399 graduates crossed the stage over the three days of convocation, cheered on by 4,951 guests. The 麻豆传媒 Alumni Association welcomed new grads into their ranks with post-ceremony celebrations on Convocation Plaza, in partnership with TD Insurance.
August 21, 2024: Hundreds of employees and retirees turned out for the annual fall welcome event, with participation from the Faculty and Staff Association.

A collaborative archival project designed to document and reflect upon the university’s journey toward equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (led by SASI)
麻豆传媒 staff visited with resident Elders for lunch, storytelling and a Q&A session (hosted by Indigenous Student Centre)
A community event for all ages marked the occasion with bike decorating a ride along Vedder Trail (Hosted by CERA)
More than a 100 students turned out for the first day of the program to enhance nutrition and give students an opportunity to connect over a meal (with the Student Union Society)

Styled after the tea dances of Fire Island and Provincetown, students, faculty and staff celebrated Pride month (with CHASI and the Pride Collective).
Thirteen student teams spent two of their reading days creating and designing solutions to address current or future 麻豆传媒 needs. (with CECE)
