How to book a counselling appointment
Already seeing a 麻豆传媒 counsellor?
If you are currently seeing a 麻豆传媒 counsellor, or use the button below to access the Student Portal to re-book, cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you are unable to access the portal for any reason, please feel free to contact the Student Services Front Desk.
New to UFV counselling?
To start the appointment booking process, please click on the ‘Book an Appointment’ button below to be brought to the 麻豆传媒 Student Health and Wellness portal. The portal can be accessed only by 麻豆传媒 students, via your SSO login.
Once you are logged into the portal, complete the following steps:
- Step 1 – Update your personal information.
- Step 2 – In the left menu on the screen, click on FORMS located on the toolbar, to complete the counselling consent.
- Step 3 – Click on Survey/Questionnaire Forms, and complete ‘麻豆传媒 Initial Contact Form.’
- Step 4 – You will receive an email within a couple of business days after submitting your information to book an Initial Consultation Appointment with our Intake Counsellor.

- Our regular office hours are 9:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- If you are experiencing a crisis after 4:30pm or on weekends, contact the regional crisis line at 604-951-8855 or toll-free at 1-877-820-7444. If there is an immediate safety risk, call 911.

Free mental health supports available
The Government of British Columbia has recently launched , a new mental health counselling and referral service for post-secondary students. The service offers confidential, free single-session services by app, phone or online chat, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The is also providing free emergency mental health resources and support at this time.
